Refund policy.

Effective date: May 16, 2026. This policy explains how Sayanara handles subscription and processing-hour refund requests.

Subscriptions

Paid access is expected to use subscription plans with monthly processing credits or audio-hour equivalents. The active checkout will show the exact price, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and plan terms before payment.

Refund window

If you believe a charge was made in error or the service did not work as expected, contact us within 30 days of the payment date. Refund eligibility depends on account status, usage, payment provider rules, applicable law, and whether credits or services were materially consumed.

Consumed credits

Credits spent on completed or partially completed processing jobs are generally non-refundable because compute, transcription, storage, and third-party processing costs may already have been incurred. Where a partial refund is approved, the refund may be reduced to account for credits or services already consumed, subject to the payment provider's policies and applicable law.

Cancellations

Users may cancel a subscription through the billing flow or customer portal when available. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or approved under this policy.

Failed or duplicate charges

Duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, or payments that did not result in credited access will be reviewed and corrected or refunded when verified.

Abuse and prohibited use

Refunds may be denied for accounts suspended for prohibited use, illegal content, fraud, chargeback abuse, intellectual-property violations, or attempts to bypass service restrictions.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method by the payment provider. Timing depends on the provider, card network, bank, and country. When paid checkout is enabled, the merchant of record for Sayanara orders processes returns in line with the provider's terms and this policy.

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region.
